Reggiani today

Reggiani S.p.A. is the efficient productive result of a merge of four companies working in different fields, such as the graphic arts with the offset and digital printing, technologies of optical recognition and acquisition, together with the implementation of online and offline IT projects.

The result of the synergy between these different units is the birth of Reggiani S.p.A., which can guarantee a complete and articulated offer since the 1st January 2000.

Our background history

1959

It was founded in 1959 as a company that used to produce its own photocopies. With the introduction of the offset printing, the company quickly passed on to industrial production of printing through medium and big size machineries in new premises.

1970

It is among the first companies, not only on the Italian territory, in the implementation of computerized phototypesetting; a revolution in the field of the graphic arts by becoming leader in the production of catalogues, yearbooks and lists.

1980

It is the first one able to typesetting and print the bar-code on an industrial scale, which is the start of a diversification towards optical reading, automatic acquisition of data and IT in general.

1990

It transform the threat that CD-rom is bringing to printing into a new opportunity of giving competences in the publication of databases, through the set-up of CD Systems Srl, specialized in digital publications.

2000

It merges the two companies in a joint-stock company that wins important contracts with the European Commission for activities of web site development, internet applications and IT consulting, for which today is the major Italian provider.

2010

The Graphic Arts division of the company gains more power and strength thanks to the acquisition of another company, with its equipment and building. This achievement completes the cycle for editorial and commercial publications through the roto-offset printing and the whole bookbinding processing.
